Transitional Heatwave for Spring/Summer, 2010 Runway Trends

Keeping up with the latest trends for this Spring/ Summer 2010 season, designers emphasize big colors & even bolder accessories. Black and white fashion's were big on the runways this season. Let's face it, you can't go wrong with the traditional black and white outfit. The designer's know this little fact, and continue to cash in on it since it's such a simple palate.
As the temperatures ri
se, fabrics become more fluid & layers are removed when dresses, skirts, and bathing suits are on the horizon. This season dresses, and skirts will remain must haves, and fashion designer's have expressed a revitalized look through vivid prints, stripes, and geometric prints. The main theme this spring is somewhat tailored, and classic, but with a touch of bold, and edgy.
As Summer is quickly approaches, runway trends have focused on utilizing heavenly fabrics which are ligh
t, soft and feminine. Although designers focus on whimsical fabrics, don't let that fool you, as the main color this summer is RED hot! Many fashions this season will be sewed up with the up most intricately, touting pleats, folds, and draping. Many would compare designs this upcoming season as direct references & inspiration drawn from ancient Greece and Rome. The one shoulder look is also big for this summer, which Stella McCarney displayed a fantastic ruffled look for Summer, 2010.
